Indianapolis Police Investigating Three Deaths

(INDIANAPOLIS) - Indianapolis police are investigating three apparently unrelated deaths on the north side Saturday night.

RTV6 reports, just before 5 p.m., IMPD officers were dispatched to the 3500 block of Graceland Avenue. The caller told police he had been involved in a disturbance inside his house and that shots had been fired toward the backyard.

As officers searched the area, an unresponsive, unidentified male was found in a rear alley of the residence with at least one gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

At approximately 7:37 p.m., IMPD officers responded to a report of a person shot on the 3600 block of N. Gladstone Avenue. Police arrived to find an unresponsive male lying in the yard with at least one gunshot wound. The 23-year-old Indianapolis man, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police were also investigating a third death on the city's north side. IMPD was called to a house in the 400 block of West 26th Street just after 9:30 p.m. When officers arrived, they found a man dead inside the home. Police said the victim had head injuries, but it was unclear if he had been shot.
