(HAYSVILLE) - The Dubois County Sheriff’s Office says a Haysville man who was involved in a standoff with police in October died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound Tuesday.
46-year-old Brian Mehringer was found dead inside a house at 1011 West Haysville Road.
The Dubois County Free Press reports Mehringer was at the center of a five-hour standoff will police in Haysville back in October.
He was later charged with child exploitation and voyeurism based on evidence gathered during a search of his home after the standoff.
