Facebook Messages Lead Police To Man

Last updated on Monday, December 30, 2013

(EVANSVILLE) - A trail of Facebook messages led to child solicitation and child pornography charges being filed against a southwestern Indiana man.

According to the Evansville Courier & Press, 22-year-old Joshua Bolin faces 55 charges and 160 years in prison if he's convicted of sending sexually explicit Facebook messages to underage girls.

Bolin was already on probation after pleading guilty to child solicitation back in April.

Police say shortly after being released from jail earlier this month, Bolin sent sexual Facebook messages to at least nine underage girls.

Investigators say the resulting investigation turned up 39 images of child pornography on his home computer and cell phone.
