(VANDERBURGH CO.) - An Evansville mother is facing several child neglect charges.

Police say a tip lead them to 29-year-old Jessica Pate's home on Jackson Avenue.

Officers say during a search of her home they found three small children living in filthy conditions, a stolen gun and marijuana.

Pate is being held in the Vanderburgh County Detention Center on a $500 bond.
