Winslow Woman Was On Meth When Police Arrived At Her Home

(PIKE CO.) - Thursday night around 6 p.m.authorities from the Indiana State Police and the Pike County Sheriff’s Department responded to the 1900 block of East Logtown Road near Winslow to serve an arrest warrant on 36-year-old Angel Bellamy.

She was wanted out of Pike County for a community corrections violation.

When officers entered the residence they say they discovered small amounts of meth and numerous items commonly used to manufacture meth.

During the investigation officers also determined Bellamy had ingested meth just before their arrival.

Bellamy's husband, 42-year-old Aaron Bellamy, was not at home when authorities arrived.

Angel Bellamy was taken to Daviess Community Hospital in Washington where she was checked by medical staff before being taken to the Pike County Jail.

When Aaron later arrived home he was arrested and also taken to the Pike County Jail.

They are both being held without bond.

The Indiana State Police and the Pike County Sheriff's Department worked together on the investigation.

Indiana State Police Meth Suppression Team removed all meth making materials from the residence.

Angel and Aaron Bellamy will be charged with manufacturing meth, Class B felony; possession of Meth, Class D felony; maintaining a common nuisance, a Class D felony and possession of drug paraphernalia, a Class D felony.
