Teen Arrested After Man Killed With Pellet Gun

(HAMILTON CO.) - The Hamilton County Sheriff's Office is investigating a fatal shooting.

The incident occurred Wednesday around 9:30 p.m. in the 2700 block of Cicero Rd in Noblesville.

At the scene, officers found a male, later identified as 45-year-old Jesus Armando Martinez-Lopez, lying in the driveway.

Upon further investigation, they discovered the man had been shot in the chest with what appeared to have been a pellet gun.

Martinez-Lopez was rushed to Riverview Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.

Investigators from the Sheriff's Office have arrested 19-year-old Jose Luiz Romo on a preliminary charge of reckless homicide.

The investigation remains on going.
