(VIGO CO.) - The Vigo County Sheriff’s Office says a Sullivan man died following a one-vehicle accident Friday night on State Road 46 near Lama Road.
The sheriff's office says 77-year-old Fred Peters ran off the highway into a group of trees.
He was in full cardiac arrest when emergency responders arrived.
He later died at Terre Haute Regional Hospital.
Authorities believe Peters may have suffered a medical condition immediately prior to the accident.
