(VIGO CO.) - The Vigo County Sheriff is investigating the death of a man who apparently shot himself while drinking Saturday night.
The unidentified man was pronounced dead at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.
A friend told investigators they were firing a gun outside an apartment on Raintree Court and went back inside the apartment where the gun accidentally discharged.
No charges have been filed.
An autopsy is scheduled for this week.
