(INDIANAPOLIS) - State police say the body found near Interstate 465 on the west side of Indianapolis was not due to homicide.
A person walking on the exit ramp from northbound I-465 to Crawfordsville Road saw the body of a man just off the interstate near the 17 mile marker.
An autopsy performed Tuesday determined that the death was not a homicide. According to the Marion County coroner, the man had a heart condition and his death is preliminarily being contributed to a medical condition.
A final ruling is not available pending toxicology results. The man has not yet been identified.
