(POSEY CO.) - A convicted sex offender has been sentenced to a total of 100 years in prison after pleading guilty to child molesting charges in Posey, Warrick and Vanderburgh Counties.
The latest sentencing of Jacob Aaron Phillips came on Tuesday in Posey County. All of the sentences are to run consecutively, adding up to 100 years.
Authorities say the investigation began when a 17-year-old went to Holly's House in Evansville in 2010 and said she had been sexually assaulted by Phillips over a 10 year period.
