Police Standoff In Peru Ends With No Injuries

(PERU) - A standoff that started early Friday morning with a subject barricaded in a residence on Second Street has ended with the subject in custody.

State police report there were no injuries and no one else was in the home.

Peru police and state police are on the scene of a stand-off with a barricaded subject on the west side of the city. Peru community schools has decided to cancel classes for the whole day.

State police were called to assist with a person who is in a residence on Second Street. No injuries have been reported.
