(PRINCETON) - Tuesday morning, the Indiana State Police arrested 48-year-old Shannon Fryrear of Owensville, based on the results of a criminal investigation.
They say the investigation revealed he molested a Gibson County girl on numerous occasions between 2004 and 2007.
A felony warrant for his arrest was issued Monday afternoon.
Fryrear was arrested at his mother's residence located at 201 East Indiana Street in Princeton.
He was taken to the Gibson County Jail where he was later released after posting a $4,000 bond.
Police initiated a criminal investigation on September 10 after receiving information Fryrear had allegedly molested the Gibson County girl years ago.
During the investigation, Detective Tobias Odom and Trooper Wes Kuykendall were able to determine Fryrear had allegedly molested the girl numerous times between 2004 and 2007 when she was between 8 and 12-years-old.
