Man Arrested After Making Series Of 911 Hoax Calls

Last updated on Monday, October 21, 2013

(INDIANAPOLIS) - An Indiana man is facing charges after police say he made dozens of hoax 911 calls.

Police say 20-year-old Andre Richardson is responsible for more than 60 unfounded emergency runs.

The false reports resulted in nearly 23 hours of public service time.

Police say the calls started back in January and Richardson often times pretended to be a woman.

Some of the false reports include a missing person, physical attacks and a hostage situation.

Richardson is being held on a $10,000 bond.
