Evansville Man Will Not Be Charged After Incident At Colt's Game

Last updated on Friday, October 25, 2013

(INDIANAPOLIS) - An Evansville man at Sunday’s Colts-Broncos game will not be charged after another fan says he purposely fell on her.

Metro Police arrested 40-year-old Kevin Moore at his hotel after the game ended following conversations with the victim and witnesses.

Teresa Voils sent Eyewitness News a photo of her injury, showing where doctors stitched her up at the hospital. Voils says throughout the game, Moore and his group became more and more intoxicated, and continually harassed her group.

After the game she says Moore purposefully fell on her, from upper seats behind them, causing her to hit her head.

The Indianapolis Star reports that prosecutors will not charge Moore, who faced a preliminary battery charge.

A Colts spokesperson says they encourage all game attendees to report disruptive behavior immediately, even by texting the Guest Assist number.

"Save that number your phone 78247 you text that number INDY then a space, the issue and your location. This can be used for anything, a Coke spilled in the stairwell, a restroom that needs a little attention, obviously if there is some sort of altercation," said Larry Hall, Colts spokesperson.

Teresa Voils is home recovering from her injuries. Moore will have his initial hearing in court on the battery charge this week.
