Closing Arguments Set For Monday In David Camm Trial

Last updated on Friday, October 18, 2013

(LEBANON) - The final witnesses have testified in the third trial of a former Indiana state trooper charged with killing his wife and two young children, with closing arguments set for Monday.

Both prosecution and defense experts testified Wednesday on whether blood from David Camm's wife ended up on his T-shirt from gunshot spatter or when he reached over her body in the family's SUV to pull out their son.

That wrapped up nearly eight weeks of testimony. The judge told jurors they would hear closing arguments and begin deliberations Monday.

Camm is charged with fatally shooting his family in September 2000 at their home in the southern Indiana town of Georgetown, about four months after he resigned from the state police. Camm's two previous convictions were thrown out on appeal.
