Teen Arrested After Police Pursuit

(WARSAW) - Police arrested a 19-year-old girl after she led an officer on a police pursuit with speeds reaching 110 miles per hour early Sunday morning.

According to the Kosciusko County Sheriff's Department, Destinee Nicole Robinson-Moore, 19, was speeding westbound on Winona Avenue, approaching the intersection of Zimmer Road, in Warsaw Sunday at around 4:20 a.m. Robinson-Moore then disregarded the stop sign at the intersection.

An officer saw Robinson-Moore and attempted to pull her over but she accelerated and sped away from the officer. Police said Robinson-Moore was driving 110 miles per hour at one point during the pursuit. She eventually pulled off of the road near the address of 5583 West Crystal Lake Road.

Robinson-Moore was arrested and preliminarily charged with:

Fleeing/resisting law enforcement with a vehicle, a felony
Reckless driving
Minor consumption of alcohol
Driving while suspended

The Warsaw City Police Department also said Robinson-Moore hit a Kosciusko County roadway sign, along with a mailbox during the pursuit.

Robinson-Moore is currently being held on a $2,000 bond in the Kosciusko County Jail.
