Police Say No Foul Play In Death Of Shelburn Woman

Last updated on Tuesday, September 10, 2013

(SULLIVAN). - Indiana State Police said preliminary autopsy results show no foul play in the death of a Shelburn woman found unresponsive Saturday morning.

Officers said they found 24-year-old Brittany L. Moore, of Shelburn, unresponsive just after 9 a.m. Saturday morning in the bedroom of a friend's home on the 300 block of Beech Street in Sullivan.

Moore was taken to the Sullivan County Community Hospital where she was later pronounced deceased by Sullivan County Deputy Coroner Rick Weaver.

Detectives said from the start that they had no reason to suspect foul play. It was not immediately apparent whether drugs or alcohol were at play, but toxicology results should be available in a few weeks.
