Charges Expected Against Pekin Woman Accused Of Sexual Contact With Resident In Children's Home

Last updated on Wednesday, September 4, 2013

(SELLERSBURG) - Formal charges could be filed Tuesday against an employee at a Sellersburg children’s home who allegedly had sex with a resident.

WDRB reports that Darci Stabeno was on the night staff at Kingsfield Children's Home. She's accused of having sex with a 17-year-old who lived there.

A probable cause affidavit says the teen used his phone to take pictures of his encounters with Stabeno, who is from Pekin, Indiana.

Officials with the children's home tell WDRB Stabeno is longer employed there.

Sellersburg Police tell WDRB that she worked at Kingsfield since April of 2013.

Stabeno could be charged with Child Seduction, a Class C felony.
