Last updated on Wednesday, September 18, 2013

(CARMEL) - Carmel Police are looking for a man who assaulted a teenage girl with a stun gun Saturday night.

It happened around 10:40 pm in the parking lot of Biaggi's restaurant at 14299 Clay Terrace Boulevard.

When officers arrived, they found the girl in the parking lot east of the restaurant. She told police she was walking to her car when a man used a stun gun to attack her. The suspect fled in a white four-door Oldsmobile Cutlass, last seen headed north on Clay Terrace Boulevard approaching 146th St.

The victim had minor injuries to her back and shoulder. She was taken to Carmel St. Vincent Hospital for treatment.

The suspect is described as a white male in his mid to late twenties, 5'10" to 5'11", brown eyes with partial beard. He was wearing a hood over his head. No license plate number was provided for the vehicle.

Although the assault seems to be an isolated case, Carmel Police hope someone can help them find the man responsible for the stun gun attack.

Police are asking that if anyone has information on this battery to contact the Carmel Police Department Investigations Division at 571-2511.
