(AVON) - Avon Police are responding to a bank robbery at 963 North State Road 267.

Two armed masked suspects reportedly robbed the Hendricks County Bank and Trust. No injuries were reported.

The suspects fled the scene in a stolen red van, which they ditched.

Police set up a perimeter in the area and are using a K-9 to track the suspects.

Kingsway Christian School is on lockdown. All Avon schools are on a "soft lockdown," meaning facilities are locked but teaching continues. Visitors can still check in at the front desk at schools. Once the situation is resolved, the lockdown will be lifted.
