(FISHERS) - A Fishers mother who was the subject of an Amber Alert has been returned to Indiana to face charges.
Jennifer Ansari was booked into the Hamilton County Jail Thursday evening. She has been charged with interference with custody for taking her daughter, eight-year-old Sophia Snow, to Kentucky August 30. Police say Ansari left with the child after learning she was in jeopardy of losing custody of the girl.
Police found Ansari and her daughter unharmed at a home in Louisville September 6, a day after Indiana State Police issued the Amber Alert for the girl.
Snow is now in Florida with her father, Aaron Snow.
