Woman Turns Self In After Warrant Issued For Her Arrest In Death Of Teen

Last updated on Thursday, August 15, 2013

(INDIANAPOLIS) - Tabitha Walters turned herself into Johnson County Jail Tuesday evening after a bench warrant for her arrest was issued.

Walters is charged with driving under the influence in connection with the May 11 death of 19-year-old Tyler Deputy.

Walters had a previous drunken driving arrest in October 2012, but posted a $3,000 bond the next day.

Police said they requested Walters' bond be revoked since she was arrested in connection to Deputy's death while already out on a separate bond.

Walters will now go to a Johnson County Court where police say a formal bond revocation hearing is expected to be promptly set.
