Last updated on Saturday, August 10, 2013

(INDIANAPOLIS) - An Indianapolis man was sentenced to 100 years behind bars in connection with the murders of a seven-year-old Cumberland girl and her uncle in December 2011.

Marion County Prosecutor Terry Curry announced Michael Bell's sentence on Friday.

Jeremy Crane and Kyleigh Crane were found shot to death in their Cumberland home in a crime that shocked the community. Police say robbery was the motive, and that Michael Bell and Jeremy Priel stole two video games and a cell phone.

Bell pleaded guilty in April to two counts of murder. Each count carried a 50-year consecutive sentence. Priel also pleaded guilty to two counts of murder and was sentenced to 110 years in July 2013.

Prosecutors filed requests for Life Sentence Without Parole against both defendants in 2012.
