MOORESVILLE - Indiana State Police and Mooresville police are investigating after finding two trucks that were carrying foods at dangerously high temperatures.
One of those trucks was carrying several products above 70 degrees, investigators said. Police said the second truck was carrying milk at 58 degrees-17 degrees above the state limit. Inspectors found milk and cheese being stored above the state mandated temperature of 41 degrees.
Police said they received a tip that the box truck from Kentucky and semi-truck from Chicago were seen exchanging food in a parking lot. Police said the box truck supplies food to at least 10 are restaurants. The food is being disposed of. Inspectors said the box truck did not have a working refrigerator unit.
