Man Saved After Nearly Drowning

(ZIONSVILLE) - A man in his 20’s was pulled from a residential pool early Friday in southern Boone County.

Emergency dispatchers say they got a call at 12:35 a.m. Friday on a report of a possible drowning in the 7300 block of Hunt Country Lane. That home is located southwest of Zionsville.

The caller said his friend was pulled from the pool and other friends were performing CPR, rescue breathing on the young man.

Medics arrived and took the victim to St. Vincent hospital for treatment.

Boone County Sheriff's deputies were interviewing witnesses as to what led up to the incident.
