(EVANSVILLE) - Evansville Police say a man is arrested on multiple charges after a domestic violence incident involving a gun.
EPD says they responded to a fight between two men in the 200 block of E. Missouri and police say they uncovered more serious activity involving one of the men.
WFIE reports that while officers were speaking with 34-year-old Donald Robb, they believed he was hallucinating and was under the influence of meth.
EPD says Robb told officers there had been a fire in his house and that his skin was burning from exposure to lithium. Officers went to 221 E. Florida and found there had been an active meth lab in the house.
Officials say the Evansville Fire Department checked it out, but there was no active fire.
Robb was taken to Deaconess Hospital to be treated for his burns and his intoxication.
At the emergency room, officers say there was a woman there who was being treated for injuries she says she received when Robb assaulted her and held her against her will for several hours.
Authorities say the woman told them that during that time, Robb pointed a handgun at her several times and threatened her.
Officers say they found a one pot meth lab and a handgun at the home on Florida.
EPD says Robb was admitted to the hospital for overnight observation. Police say once he is released, he will be taken to jail.
Authorities say Robb is charged with Criminal Confinement with a Weapon B-felony, Intimidation with a Weapon C-felony, Pointing a firearm, D- felony, and Domestic Violence A- misdemeanor.
Police say the investigation into the meth lab is still underway and additional charges may be filed against Robb at a later time.
