(BALL STATE) - Indiana state excise police officers arrested 46 people on 59 charges during move in weekend at Ball State University.
Six were charged with minor consumption of alcohol, false ID's, false statement of age and furnishing alcoholic beverages to minors.
27 were arrested on Friday for minor possession of alcohol, public intoxication, and fleeing law enforcement. Another 15 were arrested on 21 charges Saturday.
The goal was to ensure that new and returning students have a safe year and keep underage drinking to a minimum.
