(EVANSVILLE) - A 30-year-old Evansville man was arrested Wednesday after police say he attacked his mother.
An EPD officer was flagged down at a gas station at Boeke and Morgan just after midnight by someone who indicated a woman was being attacked at a home in the 1000 block of East Delaware Street.
That's where they found the 58-year-old victim who said her son, Timothy Alan Durant Morton, came home drunk. She told officers they began arguing and that's when Morton got violent. She said her son bit her on the arm, hit her in the face and grabbed her arms to push her.
Morton was arrested on battery charges. He's being held without bond.
