Dubois Man Injured After Vehicle Hits Tree

(DUBOIS) - Indiana State Police say a Dubois man was injured Friday evening when his car ran off a Dubois County highway and struck a tree.

Police say 59-year-old Patrick Friedman ran off State Road 545 while attempting to plug in his cell phone.

Friedman was airlifted to St. Mary's in Evansville for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

His 1978 Corvette was a total loss.
