(DANVILLE) - Danville’s town council president has fired Police Chief Keith Gill.
A press release from the town did not provide a reason for the termination, which was effective immediately.
The Board of Metropolitan Police Commissioners will meet to determine an interim chief and to develop a search to fill the vacancy.
