(VALPARAISO) - A northwest Indiana woman who pleaded guilty to molesting a 2-year-old boy and sending photographs to her then-boyfriend as part of a plea agreement has been sentenced to 10 years in prison.
The Times of Munster reports that Porter Superior Judge William Alexa sentenced 23-year-old Tara Tryon to 10 years in prison on one count of child molestation. He also sentenced her to eight years in prison for child exploitation, but said the sentences would run concurrently.
Her-then boyfriend, 27-year-old Ryan Schroeder, of Center Township, who was in the Navy at the time, was sentenced to 54 years in prison in February after being found guilty on 23 felony counts, ranging from aiding child molestation to possession of child pornography.
