Last updated on Wednesday, July 17, 2013

(CLARKSVILLE) - Three people were arrested after Clarksville police said they stole baby formula from a Walmart Sunday afternoon.

Police said Toni Maddox, Theodore Woodard and Keith Sanders, all from Louisville, were arrested for stealing $1,000 worth of baby formula from the Walmart on Veterans Parkway.

Officers responding to the call pulled over the suspect's car on Greentree Blvd. When the officer approached the driver, he reported seeing about 100 cans of baby formula in the car. A search of the car turned up crack pipes which had residue in them, according to police reports.

Two of the suspects, Woodard and Maddox, admitted to police they left the store without paying for that formula.
All three suspects are charged with possession of stolen property and theft. Keith Sanders is also charged with possession of a look-alike drug.
