(INDIANAPOLIS) - US District Judge Sarah Evans Barker has accepted a guilty plea from former Marion County Deputy Prosecutor David Wyser--who has agreed to tell federal prosecutors what he may know about suspected corruption in the office of former Prosecutor Carl Brizzi.

The deal calls for Wyser to get a reduced sentence. But Judge Barker is not bound by that recommendation.

Wyser acknowledges accepting a $2,500 dollar campaign contribution in return for reducing the sentence of a convicted killer.
