North Spencer School Corp. Missing More Than $70,000

Last updated on Tuesday, July 9, 2013

(LINCOLN CITY) - The North Spencer School Corporation has released a state audit showing a former employee failed to account for more than $70,000.

The Cromwell Group reports that the audit shows money from textbook rental fees, ticket revenue from sporting events and other funds are missing from accounts at Heritage Hills High School and Middle School.

The report says Melissa Isaacs, former extracurricular treasurer, could face criminal charges.

Copies of the audit have been forwarded to the attorney general and county prosecutor.
