(CULVER) - Authorities say a 22-year-old man died after being pulled from a northern Indiana lake.
State conservation officers say Valentin Sirghi of Plymouth was swimming Sunday evening with a friend at Lake Maxinkuckee (MAKS'-in-kuhk-ee) near the town of Culver when he went under. Emergency workers were able to find Sirghi and take him to a Plymouth hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
An autopsy was planned to determine what caused Sirghi's death at the lake about 30 miles south of South Bend.
