Indiana Conservation Officers are Investigating Wells County Personal Injury Dirt Bike Accident

(OSSION) - Indiana Conservation Officer Andrew Harmon is investigating a personal injury ORV accident involving a dirt bike in Wells County near Ossion.

Christopher Clontz, a 21 year old Bluffton man sustained hip injuries while riding his dirt bike on Saturday.

According to Conservation Officer Harmon, Clontz was negotiating a 34-foot double jump, when he landed short of the jump, losing control of his dirt bike.

Crontz was thrown approximately 50 feet after his dirt bike impacted the ground.

Although Crontz sustained injury he avoided more serious injury by wearing appropriate safety gear including a helmet, chest protector, riding pants and protective ORV boots.

Crontz was transported to Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne by Wells County EMS.
