(CEDAR LAKE) - A Cedar Lake man faces charges of DUI and battery after hitting his 5-year-old son.
The incident happened after John Greene got in a fight with his father-in-law over whether he was sober enough to drive. The man drove through his father-in-law's yard and struck his son.
The boy reportedly suffered serious head injuries and his condition Friday night was not immediately available.
Green was taken into custody at the scene and questioned by investigators.
