(CONNERSVILLE) - A two-year-old girl died in a house fire in Connersville late Tuesday afternoon.
Connersville Fire Chief Troy Tipton told Eyewitness News the girl died in a fire in a home near 12th and River streets in Connersville.
The fire call came shortly before 5 p.m. Tuesday.
Chief Tipton could not confirm the girl's identity or any further details about the fire late Tuesday night.
A memorial was set up in the side yard of the home featuring a series of candles in the shape of a heart surrounding a doll. The candles also spelled out the name "Marley."
This is the second fatal fire in Connersville this month. A man died in an apartment fire on the north side of town July 9.
