(GREENTOWN) - A Greentown woman is dead, after a fire broke out in her home Friday afternoon.
Firefighters arrived on the scene to find the house of Helen Singleton engulfed in flames. The blaze appeared to have started in the garage area and spread throughout the home.
Once the flames were extinguished Singleton was found in her garage, which had collapsed prior to firefighters' arrival. Authorities are still investigating the official cause.
