(INDIANAPOLIS) - Police say man apparently killed his wife at their Indianapolis apartment with their five children inside before then going outside and killing himself.
Police were called to the apartment complex about 4:30 a.m. Tuesday in the city of Lawrence on the northeast side of Indianapolis.
Police say officers found the woman dead inside the apartment and later found the man's body outside. Two teenage children were taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening head injuries, while three younger children weren't hurt.
Lawrence Police Capt. Curtis Bigsby tells WTHR-TV that investigators didn't immediately know the circumstances of the violence between the husband and wife.
