(TERRE HAUTE) - Prison officials at the Wabash Valley Correctional Facility say an inmate committed suicide Thursday.
The Tribune Star reports 41-year-old Robert Brewer of Jackson Count was found in his cell with shoe lace from his boot around his neck. The Sullivan County Coroner's report says the cause of death was ligature strangulation.
Brewer was serving multiple sentences for child molest, sexual misconduct with a minor and vicarious sexual gratification. His earliest possible release was March 2027.
