Drunk Man Arrested Following Hospital Incident

(KENDALLVILLE) - State Police arrested a Larwill man Saturday night after a scuffle with staff members at the Parkview Noble Hospital in Kendallville.

A state trooper says he found Scott A. Sponable, 66, being held down by nurses and a security guard in the emergency room.

Sponable was being hospitalized for extreme intoxication. A test showed his blood alcohol content was 0.27%.

He's in the Noble County Jail now, where he is held on prelminary charges of intimidation, battery, public intoxication and disorderly conduct.
