(INDIANAPOLIS) - St. Vincent Health says the cutbacks announced last month will result in a five percent reduction in labor expense across the system’s 22 hospitals.
It's not clear how many employees and contracted workers are involved. But CEO Vincent Caponi says those individuals are being treated "with the utmost kindness and respect."
Those who are eligible are being provided with severance packages and help finding work.
