(INDIANAPOLIS) - An Indianapolis woman was arrested Thursday for allegedly starting multiple fires and collecting thousands of dollars in insurance money.
Wayne Township Fire and Indiana State Fire Marshal investigators say Donna Fitzgerald, 48, has been tied to four fires since 1998. She then collected thousands from insurance companies for damaged or destroyed property, officials say.
According to a release, she was arrested on two Class B and two Class C felony charges for arson and insurance fraud. She is being held in the Marion County Jail on a $60,000 bond.
