VU Looking At Raising Tuition

Last updated on Friday, May 31, 2013

(VINCENNES) - Vincennes University will hold a public hearing on Friday, June 7th to discuss proposed tuition increases.

The University is looking at raising its tuition and fees by $4.60 per credit hour for the 2013-14 academic year and $5.20 for the following school year.

The increase in annual tuition will amount to $5,022 for the upcoming school year and just over $5,100 for 2014-15.

V-U officials say the tuition increases will be used to cover rising instructional and operating costs.

The hearing will be held in the Learning Resources Center, Room 167 at 3:30 pm and is open to the public.

There will also be two-way Videoconference to other off campus locations including the VU Jasper Campus and Gibson County Center for Advanced Manufacturing and Logistics.
