(INDIANAPOLIS) - Two men have been accused of trying to steal debit and credit card information from an Indianapolis ATM through a "skimming" scheme.

Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department has asked the public for help in tracking down the men through Crime Stoppers.

The suspects' images were captured through a security camera on a Fifth Third Bank ATM in mid-May. Police say the men placed a skimming device on the machine at 6071 E. 82nd St. on May 17. The device would have allowed the suspects to gain access to private user information. It was removed before it was discovered by bank security.

Police did not release whether the suspects were successful is accessing bank customer information.

One of the suspects is described as wearing a baseball hat backwards, sunglasses and a fake mustache. A picture of the second suspect shows him wearing a dark colored baseball hat and a dark shirt over a white T-shirt.

Anyone with information about the suspects is asked to call Crime Stoppers at (317) 262-8477(TIPS) or text "INDYCS" and the tip to 274637 (CRIMES).
