(EVANSVILLE) - An Evansville man convicted of killing his girlfriend has now been sentenced for the crime.
A judge sentenced 56-year old Robert Hicks to 55 years in prison for causing in the death of 47-year old Anna Jochum.
Jochum's body was found in her East Delaware street apartment in July of last year.
The Vanderburgh County coroner says Jochum suffered a broken neck and was stabbed multiple times.
