Man Hit, Killed By Police Car Identified

(INDIANAPOLIS) - The man hit and killed by an Indianapolis Police car has been identified.

Investigators say 49-year-old Richard Moore stepped into the path of the cruiser driver by Officer Jason Rauch. They say Rauch passed a breath test.

A blood draw was taken according to department policy and state law.

The toxicology results are not available yet, but investigators say it doesn't appear that alcohol was involved.
