(GREENFIELD) - A Greenfield man sent numerous pleading e-mails to police prior to his Tuesday arrest.
The Daily Reporter claims Martin Hensley, 52, was sending police e-mails about his pending divorce and police say the notes were increasing in desperate nature.
Hensley was arrested and preliminary charged with possessing a gun Tuesday at Harris Elementary School .
He was arrested around 11 a.m. when a school security office called police when he noticed a gun holster on his shoulder. Hensley told police he knew he couldn't bring it into the school while he visited to have lunch with his children but didn't know it will illegal to have it on school property.
During an initial court appearance Wednesday, a judge ordered Hensley to turn over any weapons to police and to stay away from all schools in the Greenfield-Central School Corporation until further notice.
