(INDIANAPOLIS) - CeCe Bruce has received a couple of large tips in her life, but nothing like the one she got Wednesday morning.
WTHR reports that CeCe, a waitress at the Steak 'n Shake restaurant at Keystone and 54th Street, received a $446 tip on a $5.97 bill.
Initially she thought it was $46 and told the customer, a regular, "No, no. That's too much. I can't take that."
The customer insisted. It was then CeCe saw the tip was actually for $446.
"I couldn't believe it," she said. "Miss Jo is such a nice person. It's just incredible!"
CeCe said the tip couldn't have come at a better time because she has a lot of bills to pay and the money will help.
